About Gravity Sports International
Gravity Sports International is all about gravity powered competition. Bringing street luge, classic luge, speedboard and slalom skate to a road near you, GSI wants the world to enjoy these exciting gravity sports. Tim Cayer and his family of gravity sport enthusiasts, opened the first dedicated Gravity Sport track in the eastern United States, holding their first race in 2002. Gravity Sports International continues to grow as Tim Cayer and his staff secure new race locations and promote safe Gravity Sporting. GSI provides support for competitions and events including but certainly not limited to:
- Course selection and inspection
- Course safety including haybale (barrier) placement and removal
- Racer registration
- Technical inspection of gravity powered vehicles (GPVs)
- Securing insurance coverage and permits
- Corner marshals, start and finish officials
- Enforcement of race rules and conduct
- Awards and presentations
- Event promotion
Gravity Sports International is commited to providing quality events and competitions for riders AND spectators. GSI can assist anyone wanting to hold an event that supports or promotes gravity sporting. GSI is currently seeking sponsors to underwrite future events.
